Easter dinner table ready for place setting the following day. We put colored eggs with names written on them in the egg cups for the place cards.

Time to bring out the throw pillows for the
porch furniture. The weather was
beautiful all weekend.

While I was
waiting for Jacob and Jen to arrive I ran to Lowe's to pick-up some
impatiens to replace the ones that died over the winter on the front porch. I got them planted while waiting as well.

I also got a few basil plants to plant in my basil pot on the patio. I picked up a couple of
poblano chile plants and green bell pepper plants to put into the garden at Shawn and
Theresa's house too. I have to get out to
Capitol nursery and pick up lots of heirloom and regular tomato plants for the garden over there as well.

Jacob's here! Playing with his toys and smiling at Gram-Gram.

I tried a new refreshing drink;
Limoncello Spritzers. Place ice cubes in a pitcher and add Seltzer and
Limoncello (1 1/2 cups to 1 1/2 cups for 2 drinks). Stir and serve in wine goblets.
Garnish with lemon slice if desired. I used
Meyer lemon slices from the garden of course. NOTE: The above amounts are per the recipe by Michael Chirarello. Jen and I found we liked more Seltzer mixed into the drink than called for. I also think that a touch of mint would be nice too.

Cheers!

Cheers to you too Jen!

Outside coloring Easter eggs with Jacob. he is
munching on some cheese puffs for toddlers.

We colored a tray and left some for Justin to color that evening when he and John arrived after racing at the track.

Jacob climbing up stairs for the fist time! He crawled, but he also used his feet quite a few times and walked up them. Very exciting! Yes, one of us was right there with him each time.
Jus coloring eggs that evening.

Justin shows great concentration with those eggs. You big bunnies did a good job hiding all the goodies. Love, Vaden
