We May Be Welcoming Callie Home By The Beginning of Next Week!

Theresa sent this adorable picture of Callie without her feeding tube in her nose! Yes! They removed the tube Wednesday night! Oh happy days! She is eating from a bottle each feeding and they have changed her intake to the amount she wants to eat, which is about 50 ml. They have also reduced the added calories to 22 so if she can continue to gain weight on this new plan she may be able to come home this Sunday or Monday! Thanks again for all the good thoughts, prayers and love. Callie is blossoming. I am going to be seeing Callie this afternoon with Theresa. I can hardly wait! I missed seeing her last week because I had symptoms that could have been a cold (were allergies) but I did not want to take a chance giving something to Callie. It seems like forever since I held her last!

Isn't this wonderful news! I was elated to read TC's note. This little Callie Rose is adorably beautiful; grand to see her face without feeding tube and tape.
