Justin is coming along well in his level III swim lessons. They have been concentrating on strong kicking, freestyle swimming ,the back stroke and treading water in the deep end of the pool for 5 minutes. The instructors had the class do swim fitness drills one day. They had to get out of the pool and do either 10 push ups or sit ups, then jump back into the pool and swim freestyle to the other end. Once they got to the other end they would jump out and do 10 push ups or sit ups, and then they would jump back in and do the back stroke to the other end of the pool. They kept this up until the last 5 minutes of class where they are allowed to do any kind of jumps off the diving board (no flips) and then swim to the ladder and do it again!
