A few good freinds Rose and Sharon came over the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend for a simple grilled dinner and to play cards. We spent the afternoon and early evening playing cards on the patio.

The Bearded Iris were beautiful this year.
And the roses? Well, their first bloom of the season was a burst of color that lit the garden and one's soul.
