What Are You Not Doing in 2009?

The December issue of Real Simple magazine asked the question, "What is on your not-to-do list for 2009?" I thought it was a great question so decided to answer the question myself.
Pink beans cooked with ham bone, onions, garlic and dry mustard.

I'm not going to use the word diet, run a marathon, wash the outside of the upstairs windows,

Getting the Christmas decoration boxes in the garage means taking down boxes for all holidays.

feel guilty about saying no, put up with judgemental people,

The last thing to pack up and it was David's job.

be hard on myself, cross country ski, dye my hair purple,

Homemade split pea soup with ham.

worry about what I can't change, walk on egg shells because of dysfunctional people,

Goulash.

keep things I do not use, feel old, visit a space station,

Some of this weeks fruits and vegetables.

see my husband clean the house, waste water,

Gorgeous New Year's Eve hostess gift.

worry about where I will be in 10 years (I imagine I will be where I am supposed to be),

I hosted the Mexican Train group today. (Verona,Karen, Me, Doris, Linda)

What will you not be doing in 2009? I hope you will share your list in the comment area.

I am not going to freak out about the small stuff.

I am not going to tie myself into knots for someone who is not worthy.

I am not going to use the word diet.

I am not going to obsess.

I am not going to stop having fun with my family!

I am not going to stop trying new things.

I am not going to stop telling my kids everyday how much I love them and are proud of them.

I am not going to NOT have a great year!!!!
