Answers To Some Questions Regarding Erin

I have received some emails privately asking s few questions regarding Erin so here are the answers. I thought others might be wondering the same things.

1) What did the surgeons use to replace the durra (lining of the brain)?

They took skin from Erin's thigh.

2) Exactly what is this type of tumor?

It is a mass of blood vessels and continues to grow by attacking arteries and veins for food. Ron termed it a monster tumor and that is what it is. Reminds me of the old Steve McQueen movie The Blob. It just keeps spreading and spreading as it attacks more blood supplies and becomes a larger and larger mass of blood vessels. This one was very agressive and that is why they couldn't embolize it before surgery. There were just too many blood vessels and it would have killed her.

3) What is the address to send Erin a card?

Stanford Hospital
ATTN: Erin Wall
C-2
Room#C212 Pasteur Drive

Stanford, CA 94305

You are very welcome for the updates. It is my pleasure. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
