Erin Update - 7 PM

Erin is being released from the hospital tomorrow around 11 AM. The surgeon wants her to stay at the motel near the hospital until her follow-up appointment which is next Tuesday. (A week from tomorrow.) Rob and Steven will be leaving tomorrow -- Erin doesn't want Steven staying to see her recover at first and we can certainly understand why. There wouldn;t be much quiet and rest for her either. I will be going down tomorrow morning and staying the week with them so I can help Deb by caring for Mackenzie while she cares for Erin. After Erin's first apointment if all goes well (it should be) the surgeon has given the green light for her to come as far as my house since it is closer than her own home. She will recoup here for a while with her Mom and Mackenzie.

I will be bringing my laptop with me so I can make updates on my blog. The next Erin update from me will be made from Palo Alto.

'Twould appear that Erin is experiencing positive progress. That makes us very happy. I know that she will continue to recover. Give her a big gentle hug from us when you see her today (by now). As a matter of fact, give Debbie one, too; grandmothers and aunts like you two are wonderful ladies. Love, Vaden

Glad to hear that Erin will be staying close to the hospital for awhile. The first few days after discharge can be stressful. It's wonderful to know that you'll be going down to help out. I'm sure Erin & Debbie are so grateful. Wishes and prayers for a speedy uncomplicated recovery for Erin. Hugs and love to all, Eileen
